About 716 Basement

716 Basement is an independent, locally run guide to everything basement in Western New York: keeping water out, keeping the air healthy and making the space livable. We are not a contractor and do not perform work.

How we build listings

Listings are compiled from public sources such as company websites, the New York State Department of Health radon mitigator list and review platforms. Each profile links to its sources. If a rating is shown, it names the platform and the month we retrieved it. We never write, buy or invent reviews, and blank fields mean we have not found the information.

How we make money

Basic listings are free. Companies can pay for clearly labeled featured placements or for homeowner leads. Payment never changes ratings or editorial content.
